About Us
The Three Notch’d Grill takes its name from the historic route that took settlers west from Richmond and over the Blue Ridge Mountains. We bring the adventurous spirit of the Three Notch’d Road into our restaurant.
In October of 2005, Hayden and Cathy Berry opened the Three Notch’d Grill with the goal of bringing small historic town of Crozet a restaurant with something for everybody, whether locals or out-of-towners, families or couples.
Our menu changes weekly, but we can guarantee that you’ll always find both tradition and innovation: for instance we’ll serve our a homemade applewood-smoked pork BBQ, and great burgers, we also offer a variety of hand selected meat, seafood and pasta dishes peppered with international flavors.
While we bring you tastes from all over the world, we also make sure to emphasize the local. Our produce, when in season, comes from area farmers. Our trout comes from nearby Madison County, and our beer comes just down the street from the Starr Hill Brewery. While we offer an international selection of fine wines, we make sure to feature wines from local vineyards.
